The most popular marked track suitable both for walking and cycling considered as the most interesting in the region traversing along Lusowskie Lake. The route starts at Lusowo where one can find neo-gothic palace from the second half of the 19th century, church from the beginning of the 20th century and cemetery which is the resting place of general Józef Dowbor-Muśnicki – the leader of Wielkopolskie Uprising. In Lusówko the route crosses over the Sama, river flowing out of the lake. Next the track leads to Otowo.
The Lusowskie Lake surroundings are situated in environmentally and historically interesting region, perfect for those who like angling and active relaxation. The Lake covers 120 ha, 5,8 km long 500 m wide, with average depth of 8,6 m. Amateurs of angling can find there a wide variety of fish: breams, eels, pikes, perch, crucian carp, tench and roaches.
The Lusowskie Lake and Sama valley constitute 1010 ha of Environmentally Protected Landscape.
The Kierskie Lake, the second lake available for tourist visiting our community, is situated in particularly picturesque area, it covers 310 ha 5 km long and 2 km wide, in its deepest place 36 m. The Lake is well known within amateurs of sailing from all over Poland because of its numerous recreational-tourist advantages and a specific micro-climate.
We highly recommend complexes of manor houses, manors and parks at Lusówko and Jankowice, parks with valuable species of trees with the status of the monuments of nature at: Lusowo, Chyby, Sierosław and Swadzim.
